AAAS Mentoring Awards
The two categories of the AAAS Mentor Awards (Lifetime Mentor Award and Mentor Award) both honor individuals who during their careers demonstrate extraordinary leadership to increase the participation of underrepresented groups in science and engineering fields and careers. These groups include: women of all racial or ethnic groups; African American, Native American, and Hispanic men; and people with disabilities.

Becky Gates Children's Center
The Texas A&M University Children's Center is a child care and preschool program providing care and individualized, developmentally appropriate early childhood activities. The Center was created to provide support to A&M families, including undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff. The Center is an affiliate of Texas A&M University, under the guidance of the Division of Student Affairs.

Center for Teaching Excellence
The Center for Teaching Excellence provides resources and services to faculty—current and future—so that they can thrive as teachers and grow professionally. We engage in and support the advancement of teaching practices and pedagogical research that will stimulate the development of learning environments in which each student at Texas A&M can excel.
