Panelists: Women's Faculty Network in conjunction with Black History month but would like to encourage any faculty members to join us for a frank discussion of the pros and cons of going into administration. ASSESSING YOUR OPTIONS AND DEFINING YOUR GOALS
The 17th Annual Career and Professional Development Conference hosted by Women in Science & Engineering (WISE) The conference takes place Feb. 21 at the Memorial Student Center, with a pre-conference reception held Friday evening (Feb. 20) at the University Club. Deadlineto register for the conference is Feb. 17. Conference speakers are from diverse fields of science and engineering and will address topics related to networking, setting personal goals, transitioning from grad school to the professional world and pursuing dreams. The keynote address, "Strategies for Career Success: New Models of Flexibility forAcademia," will be delivered by Mary Anne Holmes, Associate Professor ofPractice, Department of Geosciences, University of Nebraska - Lincoln and the Director of Advance-Nebraska. The registration fee is $15 for students and $25 for non--students, and includes the reception Friday evening, a conference packet and lunch on Saturday. Free childcare will be provided upon request.
